José Antonio skrev även en sång till spanska falangen med namnet Cara al Sol ”Vänd mot solen”. Sången användes för första gången i Madrid 1936. Under Francisco Francos tid i makten 1939-1975, var sången inofficiella nationalsången i Spanien. Den officiella nationalsången var la Marsha Real och är än idag den officiella.
